Your learning progress belongs to your journey. We aim to keep the personal information needed to support it as small as possible.

What this app stores

When you create a learning profile, Timeless Fluency stores a site-specific account identifier supplied by ChatGPT, an optional nickname (or “Reader”), your home and target languages, daily listening goal, and the version and time of your terms acceptance. It stores listening durations and word-recall events with timestamps so it can show your own progress.

Our profile code does not copy your ChatGPT email or account name into the app database. It does not request a real name, postal address, date of birth, payment details, or advertising identifier, and it never receives your password. Whatever you choose to type as your nickname is stored. ChatGPT may supply account information during sign-in; our profile code uses the site-specific account identifier and does not save those identity details.

Why we use it

We use profile and learning data to provide the requested learning service: saving your settings, syncing practice, calculating your statistics, and letting you export or delete your records. The intended legal basis for that service data is performance of the learning-service agreement. Any future optional usage analytics will use a separate opt-in and will not be required to learn.

Sign-in and service providers

Sign-in is handled by ChatGPT/OpenAI. Timeless Fluency does not receive or store your password. Website delivery and hosted storage use the ChatGPT Sites hosting infrastructure. Hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses, device/browser information, and security logs to deliver their services; those are not stored in our application’s learning tables.

Provider roles, contractual arrangements, storage locations, retention, and any international-transfer safeguards must be confirmed in the final operator notice. OpenAI’s privacy policy describes its own processing.

Cookies and device storage

Essential storage supports sign-in, cached app files, and the offline progress queue you request by using the app. Your privacy preference is stored on this device for up to 180 days. Queued learning events are removed from this device after a successful sync. Browser settings let you clear cached files and local site storage.

Optional analytics is currently off. If offered later, it will be off by default and will collect daily counts of selected actions without names, email addresses, account identifiers, raw IP addresses, full browsing histories, typed text, or session recordings in the app’s analytics table. Counts will be retained for up to 90 days and removed on the next analytics write. Change your choice in Cookie settings.

Retention and your choices

Your profile and saved learning events are kept while you use the profile, until you delete them using the controls below. Deletion removes those records from the active application database. Authentication-provider records and infrastructure backups follow their providers’ policies; deleting your Timeless Fluency data does not delete your ChatGPT account.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable, and withdraw optional consent at any time. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency. The operator’s privacy contact will be added when its business details are supplied.

No advertising or sale of data

This version includes no advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, marketing mailing list, or session-replay software. Learning records are not sent to an AI generation service in this version.
